Suede shoes are in this Fall and I love the look of some of the purple suede pumps that are available now.   If you want to get the most out of your purple pumps, pick a style that is both classic and versatile.

When deciding what to wear with your purple suede pumps, consider the shade of purple. There are many shades of purple from the darker plums to the lighter lavenders with the darker shades more popular for fall.   Purple shoes will really stand out when worn with neutrals.  Darker neutrals, such as greys or browns, pair quite nicely for a classy, sophisticated look with the more popular plum shades we are seeing this Fall.   For a more flirty and fun look, try pairing your purple shoes with a complementary color in a different hue, such as yellow or blue-green.

Here are a few of my favorite purple suede pumps that I’ve pulled together for you.

This design by Stuart Weitzman is my favorite!  I adore this dark shade of purple and the tri-colored bow in different shades of purple.   The Stuart Weitzman  Frontpage Platform Pump will add style and sophistication to your dressier outfits.

Here’s another great design by Stuart Weitzman in another dark shade of purple. The Stuart Weitzman Extra Suede Pump features a peep-toe, criss-cross design on the vamp with high heel and platform.  These shoes would look great with jean or a cocktail dress.

The Casadei 3576 Triple Platform Pump has sexy straps and a zippered heel. The platform is wrapped in satin a lighter shade of purple and beautifully contrasts the rich shade of plum suede.

The Laura Brandon Tammy Platform Pump is a lighter purple suede paired with a beautiful wooden heel and platform.

The BCBGirls Dania platform pump has a classic silhouette with stilleto heel and platform. This bright and rich shade of purple would look great worn with complementary hues, such as yellow or blue.

The Nine West Bonfire Purple Suede Pump features and a 2-piece leather upper that creates notches in the vamp and peep toe.  The hidden platform and high heel elevate the look.

Love the purple suede but would prefer something without the high heel? The Franco Sarto Asia Low Heel Pump has simple lines and features button and strap detailing on the vamp. This is a great shoe for work, but will also look fantastic after hours.

Purple is a dynamic color and is traditionally associated with royalty, wealth and power.  A classic pair of purple suede shoes can certainly liven up your wardrobe this Fall and is sure to get attention when worn.

When technology and design come together the result can be absolutely stunning.  Laser cut out shoes have been around for awhile but, in recent years, this technology for creating leather cut outs has become more popular among many shoe designers.   This season we’ve seen laser cut outs on every style of shoe, including boots, sandals, pumps and flats. Shoes with geometric laser cut-outs patterns provide an edgy, modern look and can transition well into Fall when worn with colored tights.

These gladiator-style Jeffrey Campbell shoes feature dramatic laser cut outs over the entire upper and with a 2-1/2 inch heel, they are very easy to wear all day. The Jeffrey Campbell Attic Black Leather shoes at Jildor Shoes.

Here is an open-toe bootie by Pour La Victoire with bold geometric cut-outs on a 4-1/2 inch heel and 1-1/4 inch platform.  There is also side zipper entry. Here is another open-toe bootie.  Unlike the bold cutouts in the above Pour La Victoire Bianca shoe, the Pelle Moda Kammi has cut-outs with rounded corners and features a zipper at the heel. Floral and lace cut out patterns provide an ultra feminine look in the shoes below.   They are not as dramatic as the larger and bolder geometric cut outs but the intricate details in these patterns are amazing!
