I’ve been drawn to navy blue boots ever since I spotted the Daria Boot by Donald J Pliner. Now I’m seeing many other brands with blue boots in their Fall/Winter collections.   Navy blue boots stand out because they are an unusual color for leather and not the usual black or brown shade that we see and wear so often. However, navy blue boots are more versatile than you would think because they go with so many things and they are a great way to add color to your Fall/Winter wardrobe. Wear them with neutrals, such as black, brown, camel, and grey or with complementary colors such as orange, blues, and yellows.

Navy boots are a great way complement and add color to Fall/Winter wardrobe pieces in neutral shades. For many, navy is just the right amount of color without being too bright. It can also be classic and looks nice with traditional Fall patterns, such as plaids or tweeds. If boots aren’t your style, try some navy pumps or mules.

Navy comes in many hues and can be difficult to match with a blue outfit. It can also look a bit too matchy-matchy if matching with an all blue outfit. I find navy looks best when paired with neutrals and complementary colors.

The official start of Summer is this weekend and, if you haven’t done so already, it’s a great time to don your favorite sandals and show off that pedicure!   With the warm weather months ahead, Summer sandals are in abundance and there are some amazing styles to choose from… including the ever-so-popular gladiator style, classic t-straps, and embellished thongs in shiny metallics.
