It’s hard to believe how fast this year has gone by. Halloween is this weekend and I just received the invitation for my company Holiday Party in December! I think these invitations for parties are on the same schedule for putting up Christmas decorations, and it seems to get earlier with each year.

Thinking of Holiday Parties has me also thinking of what I’ll wear and, as I was perusing the Heels.com website, I noticed that they just added a ton of new party shoes that are perfect for the fast approaching season of parties and events.

Here are a few of my favorites among the many new styles added at Heels.com.

There are quite a few shoe lines that are making some great styles that are in line with Fall 2009 trends and that will not blow your shoe budget!   Ones that immediately come to mind, of course, are Steve Madden, Charles by Charles David, and Nine West shoes.   Another, lesser-known brand is Type Z shoes.

Lately, I’ve been quite impressed with the fresh new styles by Type Z shoes.    Check out these pretty pumps by Type Z shoes that are available at Zappos.

These ankle boots by Caligarius shoes are absolutely gorgeous!  Rich with beautiful textures and chic lines, these shoes have a refined style that will add sophistication to any Fall wardrobe.  The stiletto heel has a marbleized color and the platform is wrapped in snakeskin. The name “Caligarius” was given to ancient Roman shoemakers and it’s from those roots that these beautifully crafted shoes were born.  

Stefano Ferragamo is the designer behind all Caligarius shoe designs.   From a long line of Italian shoe designers, he is the brother of Salvatore Ferragamo and, while his designs are quite unique, it’s clear that he has inherited the family talent.

Platform pumps are very popular and can easily be found, but no one does platform pumps quite like Giuseppe Zanotti.  The platform on these beauties are not hidden or wrapped as you often will see in this style of stiletto pump.  No way!  These platforms are meant to be seen and will raise you to new heights!   In doing so, attention is also drawn to the unexpected contrast between the chunky natural cork platform and the brilliant red patent leather upper.
