Via Spiga’s Fall 2009 Shoe Collection
Via Spiga’s new Fall 2009 Collection is getting noticed and for all the right reasons. Why you ask? Well, it may be because it is the first collection from their new Creative Director, Paola Venturi. With nearly 2 decades of experience, Venturi has led creative design for some well-known design houses including Te Casan, Kate Spade, Calvin Klein, and Sergio Rossi (where she started her career).
Venturi is based in Italy but she recently visited Chicago earlier this month to promote her collection. During her visit to the Windy City, she was interviewed by Second City Style. You can read more about this talented Italian shoe designer here.
Here are a few of Via Spiga’s Fall 2009 Designs…

Via Spiga – Oasis These adorable suede flats feature lizard-embosed accents and come in dark olive, plum, or luggage suede leather.

Via Spiga V-Linden Bootie I love the sleek lines and classic silhouette on this ankle bootie. Available in black or brown smooth leather or wine suede leather.

Via Spiga – Elise Gorgeous suede ankle bootie. Shown here in luggage suede, also available in plum and black suede.

Via Spiga Nevin Sleek and sophisticated knee high platform boots in black suede or calf leather.
I’m quite impressed with this collection from Via Spiga. It’s feminine and sophisticated, yet it also has a playful and carefree style as well. I could easily have and wear all of these designs with my current Fall wardrobe. I’m looking forward to seeing more of Venturi’s designs, soon to be unveiled, in her Spring 2010 collection.
